1st paragraph

Weekend cards at Proctor Academy are a useful but hard task to agree on. I believe that the school should down size on them and set up a new system for the students to follow. By doing this it shows that the teachers have??should?? Trust the students more in the decisions that they make. I think that the students should only need signatures from their dorm parent and advisor in order to leave campus for the night unless they would be missing classes. Also when the teachers realize that there are many people going to one house I think that they should trust them and not worry about making sure that nothing bad will happen.

night sketch thing

Up in Learning skills talking with Annie learning skills teachers walk by and I hear Lisa voice in Shirley’s room talking about some medication thing. Two chairs are pulled out and dust layers the right Connors of the table. “We have a quiz today”! Lisa yells, “I hate this class”! The occasional teacher walks out to ask for a book that their students needs. I close a program that allows me to see a picture of this past family weekend with one of my friends I hadn’t seen in months. Focusing back on what is around me the clock reads 12:15 looking down the bulletin board below has the spring schedule printed in blue and a calendar with the month of April, even know these past couple days have been like summer days with only a month left of school time is flying.

Green leaves with wax hang in baskets from the wooden posts
Glamorous plays in the background
Pink papers with instructions on the wall
World books lined up
Many knots in the wood representing maybe all the knots that we have in life and
All the twist and turns that people go through

Hiku

Rippling water on elbow pond birds chirping and a light wind
Blue rope on the birtch tree and pine needles surrounding
Sun reflects against the pond and I hear footsteps on the wooden plank

week 4 entry 1

I glance over and look out the big window in Maxwell savage upstairs in our English room. The sun is out and everyone seems to be happy today. Tree braches fold over from all the snowstorms that we have had in this never-ending winter. The grass is a little green but mostly a grayish brown. And there are now just a couple of snow piles still on the ground in the shade. Know one walks by cause everyone is in class probably hoping to get out early to begin the sun. Its parents weekend so everyone’s parents will come tomorrow either people will be happy or mad to see them they will go to class if they want or just come to see there child. Looking now to what is in front of me I see an empty peanut butter cup that Amanda bought to support the people in eco with buying some new light thing. Class is over now and I have to go to science.

Sitting here in English tom tells everyone there midterms grade everyone is either disappointed or very pleased. Orange shirt, blue shirts, and sweatshirts is what everyone has on today the warm sun shines in on the class. And Kirsten moves in her chair waiting got her paper to be corrected and everyone else independently works on their blog’s and papers. Clicking from the keyboards working starburst wrapper and old papers from previous classes.

It’s a sunny day out and hopefully lacrosse will be fun today. “Outback steak house” Texas says to Rosie not knowing what they are talking about. A lot of different noises and the picture on the back of my screen of my sister and I from lacrosse and our scrimmage at Lawrence academy on Wednesday that we lost but still had fun. its time to go to assembly and then i go to englsih.

qoute responce for HOOT

"He wasnt prepared to see them wheel in somebody who'd been injured in a serious wrek, somebody who might even be dying...Once when he was seven years old and his family lived near milwakee a drunken huntrer drove a snomobile full speed into an old birch tree. THe accicedent happend only a hundred yards from where Roy and his father were sledding" (pg.145). I think that this qoute shows how much of a sensitive person Roy is because he really cares about other people and he almost had an experience himself that could have been very bad. But he and Beitirce to the right thing adn bring mulletfigers to the docters to get help becasue he is very sick from the dogs bites that he previously got.

1st paragraph for HOOT

In Hoot, Carl Hiaasen uses eco-sabotage to highlight environmental issues that are affecting our world. The kids in the Coconut Cove community try to save owls that are buried under the ground because the owners of Mother Paula’s Pancake House want to build on their homes. First, the boys try to approach the people in charge peacefully, but they are not successful. The kids use eco sabotage tactics to save the owls because they feel it is the strongest statement that they can make. Although vandalizing property is against the law, in some circumstances, it can serve a greater purpose. Such as in this case the barefoot boy wants to save the owls homes from being destroyed. eco-sabotage, the destruction of property by vandals, is ethically justified in certain circumstances.

The Earth liberation front
article
1. Igniting a revolution vocies of defence in the earth-

this article is about global warming and helping to prevent it and global warming can be simialer to the choice that I picked because the right is there so nothing happends to anone and people can have a say in what they want.

2.FBI settels with enviormentalist-

This shows that majior people are fighting against what others want but by having a set law and that think vandalism is bad it helps to contol it within communities.

3. Somebodys watching me:Vancuivers activists under servailence-

Showing that there is no privicy but by not being able to do what ever you want anywhere it is a good thing because then there is structer and orfer to get done what needed to happen for the people and the cratures living there.

reading responce

In Hoot the main charcter is Roy he is a young boy that moves alot because of his fathers job.
He moves to coconut cove and has a hard time making new friends. He gets in fights and has to resolve them.
But he is expecially curious about this bare foot boy that runs by them everyday on the bus. One qote that i like
from the book is about the bare foot boy when Roy chases him in the golf coures. "Roy loosened the knot and peeked but he couldnt see what was inside whatever it was felt buky.. Uh oh Roy said Snakes and not jsut only snakes".pg.51 I like this part because it shows how into nature he is and how Roy doesnt really no anything about nature and not being in the city. He soon starts to relate to the bare foot boy and learns many new things.

new london walk: week two #2

New London Agency, dirt on my shoes and cars swish by. A Mountain Dew bottle from a week ago and a brand new Jeep Cherokee blue with a trail rated sign on it. A Easter flag for the upcoming holiday with pink, yellow, blue, and purple. Looking out the window pains, a white wooden fence with dead grass and gross tree with empty branches. A lady leaves her minivan with her red coat and her daughter. She walks into Morgan Hill bookstore and music. A Colorado licenses plate witch is a little out of place and a Citco sign with no gas station around. Whatever. Bobby walks towards me with his timberland boots on and interesting black hat that all the boys wear around campus. I come to a New London Inn sign 1792. I walk up the old stairs with chipped green paint and can see the original paint job underneath it. I sit on an old green chair on the porch. And a sign that faces me and it reads “Now serving dinner” dead plants in the garden and little white pebbles border the railings walking up the old stairs. A FedEx box for outgoing mail and an American flag walk down Pleasant Street.

sketch # 4:week 1 #2

Silent in the common room gross old chairs that are grayish and have thing stuffed in the side of them people have just sat there for the night ew. A snowman pillow witch is a little out dated and a old red bull can that Annabelle left in here earlier along with her seventeen magazine. A paper bag and a but to a lacrosse stick and a takeout menu for Chinese laying on the couch next to me and someone’s random rain boots that are striped with pink yellow blue and purple one stands up tall and the other one falling over against the wooden table that has random stuff molded into it. And a strifome thing that could have random old food in it. To my left are the blue recycling bins that we use now so we can SAVE THE WORLD because of this we have plastic bottles that overflow. And next to it crinkly paper bags that be throw in there to.

sketch#3: week two #1

Sitting here in Mac house room two, hearing the conversation of Glenna Chi Chi and Megan, working on their Nicaragua slideshow. Focusing back in on my work I observe my wall filled with magazine cut outs Vogue, Elle, In style and Ralph Lauren. Ripped pages, jagged edges, barley hanging been there scene the first week of school. My room messier then usually and which is so annoying. My Citizens of Humanity jeans lay on my bed and yellow oxford that I wore today. My purple comforter with white outlining is is starting to slide off my bed. I glance over to my right and see my red bull and Taylres glasses that she left. A picture of my best friend and I from home and my hair straighter on the chair. With my pinkish purple phone next to it, I hope my parents don’t call. One of my posters just fell down. I focus back on the computer and realize I still have history and math homework.

Sitting here in Mac house room two hearing the conversation of Glenna Chi Chi and Megan working on their Nicaragua slideshow. Focusing back in on my work I observe my wall filled with magazine cut outs Vogue, Elle, In style and Ralph Lauren. The pages are pretty ripped with jagged edges and staring to fall telling that school is almost over because they have been there since the second day of school. My room is messier then usually and which is so annoying. My citizens of humanity jeans lay on my bed and yellow oxford that I wore today. My purple comforter with white outlining is kind of hanging off my bed. I glance over to my right and come into view of my red bull and Taylres glasses that she left. A picture of my best friend from home and my hair straighter on the chair. With my pinkish purple phone next to it I hope my parents don’t call one of my posters just fell down. I focus back on the computer and realize I still have history and math.
